There will be no other mama to grace the earth and our lives the way you did. You’ll be forever in our minds and heart being the lavish, loving, mama who loved talking about your adventures here in the US and having good taste in food. Thank you for everything you’ve done. We’ve got it from here.

I'll cherish our moments together and will remember you as someone who can talk to anyone and instantly make them feel befriended. I'll miss your retelling of exciting and courageous stories of working in Manhattan in the 70s; your small daily feats that eventually brought me and family to the lives we live today. Thank you for my mom and my uncles, your amazing cooking, your sense of fashion, and your constant love and pride for me and your grandkids. I love you always, Mama.

Thinking about those times together strolling around New York City and New Jersey, the countless laughter and food trips with family… you were one of the coolest and most generous people I’ve ever known… we miss and love you dearly… until then, Mama Marlene! Please watch over us, and say Hi to Dad :)

I miss you!

I know I wasn't the most behaved grandchild but I was (and still am) the hungriest 😊. Thank you looking after (and feeding me) while growing up. Hope I've made you proud even by a little bit. I wish I can make you even prouder. I love you Mama. I miss you already.
